My Ideal Spring Break

Well 2020 is the start of something historical, my birthday is in 10 days and honestly I am prepared for devastation, for I know my family and friends cannot spend the occasion with me out of respect for their safety as well as mine. However this blog update is not a sad/depressing one so let me tell you of my ideal spring break.

Me and my two closest and longest friends sitting at the pool at the Grandview Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada with a couple frozen drinks in our hands and a belly full of Steak ‘n’ Shake. We would go to the 1-Oak club and dance all night forgetting this virus was ever a thing. With Sin City at our disposal we would be driving around the city passing all the attractions through out the city. Hopefully we can make this a reality for August of 2021 for that is when we have our next trip to Vegas is planned.

I wish I could give my cat the world pt 1

I grew up with animals but I have never had my own, my aunt and grandparents have had dogs and cats. And one thing I noticed was the animals pick favorites so it would make me upset cause I just wanted to hug and love them.

But my first year of college at lake area did not go as planned, I was considered a beauty school drop out, and that took a hard emotional toll on me, so January of 2019 I decided to rescue a four month old female kitten, but the one I fell in love with she had a issue, she had the cat flu, so the first month I had Lily she had to get medicine every morning and night threw a syringe, THAT WAS HORRIBLE.

But now Lily is a healthy year old cat but in all honesty she is the best thing that has ever came into myself…

if i had a extra hour in my day

I would like to think that I would do something productive but the relativity of that happening would be slim to none. I would probably binge watch Netflix or watch some Tiktoks. So today I’ll give ya some of my recommendations ya need to checkout.

Netflix

  • “You” – now this one (it’s a Thiller) OMGGGGGG it messes with your mind. If you remember “Dan” from Gossip Girl aka Penn Badgley you will love this show! Binge watch at all costs
  • “Chilling Adventures of Sebrina” – hehe this ones dark this is a spin off of the comic series, now honey if you real strong with you religion and do not wish to see demons, witchcraft, death, and the underworld, this may not be for you.
  • “Trailer Park Boys – The Animated Series” – first and foremost if you don’t know who the Trailer Park Boys are you may be consider an uncultured swine and you need to EdUcAte YoUrSeLf!!!!! (i put the link- dont worry i got you). This is one for you and your homies to sit down get a pizza and have a good laugh. Yes males this aka for you!!

I wish I could give my cat the world pt 2

Now I wish I didn’t have to go to work and school but unfortunately, I have to. So if I had a extra hour in my day I would choose to spend it with my cat, she doesn’t ignore me, she never leaves me on seen, some times she brings me her toys to share, and the best part is she is an amazing snuggler. She does have a habit of destroying my cords and chewing up any straws she sees but for the majority shes a perfect cat.

She is currently a year old and she loves to stare out windows and scratch and attack every thing she sees. Her best friend is my roku remote for my TV she will drag and hide it somewhere in my room, 99% of the time its under my bed.

A new year a new me…

2020 is the year to evolve and become new. So I have set some plans for myself this year; Working out more, Allowing myself to be happy, Avoiding negative energy, Communication between my peers, Focus on building relationships, and most importantly focus on my grades.

The project I’ve been doing has allowed me to meet new people and learn how to express my self creatively and show off more that I can do that is outside of the box but I’m so excited and I can’t wait to do this with @wildpearlphotography it’s gonna be so much fun!

2020 Project of Beauty

So this year I was sitting there thinking about what to do for this year since I keep hearing “this year is my year” well since the beginning of this year did not go as planned I started deep thinking and plotting (aka I sit on my floor cry and try to figure out what is going on) but I went to class and good ole Tom had us do a group activity and that was went I met Anne (@wildpearlphotography), we started talking and we came to an agreement for our project “Luminescence & Beauty” I am in charge of hair and makeup! Here is some of the photos I can not wait to show you more 🙂

Things they never said…

FIRST OF ALL THIS IS A MOOD, this is 10 year old me thinking I was cool, I wasn’t then I’m not now 🙂
  • Now if I had a dollar for every time I ran out of deodorant and had to use foot spray I would have $10 right now.
  • Get ready to push if you run out of gas… it happens just cry it out
  • Books are not included in on tuition… seems like it but it’s not
  • Forget your crusty old friends and try and make new ones, otherwise class gets awkward.
  • Find friends in other programs so you can gain business help
  • Get a cat or dog when away at college… it is well worth it, sometimes it is more entertaining then cable
  • Save all change at all costs!!! MONEY IS MONEY
  • Find some cool roommates, it makes living expenses go down!
  • If you gotta poop at school, walk as far away from your class and use that bathroom, that way no one in class knew you blew up the toilet after taco Tuesday.
  • Be prepared to run off of soup and ramen noodles, take advantage of all free meals!

And shout out to puberty! HAAAAAA, if I can get threw looking like that you can get threw school 🙂
